What are the average upload and download speeds that I can expect from your service?? Will the weather affect the signal like it does on my sat Service?

The average depends on where you live in relation to one of our access points.� We have users getting our 1.2 down and 1.2 up.

Weather does not affect us.� On occasion long power outages around one of our nodes may impact us.� And of course if you have a power outage, you will not receive our signal unless you have a UPS or generator.

Do I need any special equipment?

We have tried many devices. The devices shown at http://www.goldlink.net/products.asp have all worked well. Any Client device should work for the wireless connection. Too be sure check the products page or email support@goldlink.net with your devices model number to see if we have tested it. For Phone service check out the products page or email support with the model number. If the device was used for a system that locks the device for their service, it probably wont work with us. Email support@goldlink.net for more questions.
